Darece Daniels Executive Director

Darece Daniels is a dedicated leader and advocate for underserved communities, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Institutional Community Development Corporation (ICDC). Under her stewardship since 2006, Daniels has transformed ICDC into a vital resource for community engagement and development, fostering partnerships with prominent organizations such as 4-H, MyCom, NASA, Neighborhood Connections, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Her innovative approach to community development has made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and families.

Prior to her role at ICDC, Daniels served for 14 years with Ohio State University Extension – Cuyahoga County, where she was instrumental in developing programs aimed at engaging youth and families in meaningful ways. One of her notable achievements during this time was the establishment of one of the first 4-H Clubs for inner-city youth, a pioneering initiative that opened doors for young people to explore leadership, education, and community service.

Throughout her career, Daniels has remained steadfast in her commitment to creating opportunities for underserved communities. Her work is characterized by a deep understanding of the challenges these communities face and a relentless drive to foster partnerships that lead to sustainable solutions. By connecting individuals and organizations, she has cultivated a collaborative environment that empowers residents to take an active role in their community’s development.

Daniels graduated from Full Sail University with a Master of Science Degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
